THis is a rough first draft of a story I'd like to do something with, maybe make a childrens book or something... who knows
In the begining there was just a magical cat named Meow Meow and he was quite curious. So he explored the universe and much to his suprise one day he found another magical cat who he called Sugar Delicious - but this cat was diferent from him - he didn't know how or why, but he felt very deeply for this other cat - Meow found himself feeling and experiencing things with this other cat that were before unknown to him... with the other cat Meow felt a endless refreshing depth - they spent a lotta time together and low and behold one day Sugar Delicious was all glowing and fat and after a time she gave birth to several smaller cats.
Once again Meow was suprised at the depth of feelings and joy that he had for these new little kittens - He & Sugar would seemilngly spend days on end playing and loving the new kittens - One time he was so happy with a new kitten that he squeezed and hugged it with all his might - but then it seemed that all the magic had gone out of the kitten - and no matter what he or Sugar Delicious did the magic would not return to the little one - Now Meow & his love felt things that they had never felt before - an overwhelming sadness and they were both inconsolable for quite some time... Until one day Meow found a new little animal in the universe - he didn't know what it was but it made little crying noises and would not stop until he held the little animal close to his heart then the little creature would make a diferent noise - Meow didn't know what it was but it made him feel happy again for the first time since the kitten had died - again he was suprised with wonder as his heart overflowed with love and joy as the new little creature finally fell asleep in his arms - Meow & Sugar took the little creature with them everywhere - for it was very fragile and didn't seem to grow as fast as the other little kittens had - after a while some of the kittens even started to jealous of the new creature as Meow & Sugar loved it so unconditionaly and so by and by the kittens got together and they decided to steal the little creature from Meow and to take the magic out of it - So as to have thier parents back for themselves - but as they led the little creature away deep in the woods One of the kittens named Boogibly began to see the creature in a new light and feelings grew in her heart for it, so she talked her brothers and sisters into hiding the creature off far away in a barren place and to leave it - and perhaps it would find another new parents - so they agreed and left the creature in a far away and alone place...
When Meow & Sugar awoke they knew immediately that something was wrong - their little love was gone! They began to frantically call out for the little baby for perhaps it had crawled off in the night. But Meow worried in his heart that perhaps the other kittens had stolen it - but instead of bearing the weight of that thought - he thought that perhaps there was something else in the universe - or a someone that had come and stolen the child - his love - from him - for strange things had been happening - ya see as the other kittens had grown and thier was begining to not be enough food for everyone - so Meow set out again in search for more food
One day Meow found a new food source and he happily brought as much as he could to his family - but after a while he noticed that this new food was perhaps making everyone a bit crazy - the kittens who were now almost fully grown - had begun to fight for it seems that they no longer recognized each other and some would dissapear for days at a time - and it was around this time that the little child creature had dissappeared as well and even Meow and Sugar had begun to grow apart especially after losing thier little child - they now sometimes even forgot thier vast love for one another - So Meow realized that the new food may be making them all crazy - so he tried to use as little of the new food as possible - but it soon became apparent that it would probably run out of the good food and they would have nothing but the food that was making them crazy...
Meow went to Sugar Delicious and told her - "The new food is making us all crazy... making us forget our love, but as the old food is running out, we either have to risk going crazy or we will surely starve!" Sugar said she would rather die than forget Meow & thier children - She would rather die than to forget thier love - but Meow said that he would always remember no matter what - and he would know and feel it in his heart if she and thier love was missing and even if Sugar forgot him completely He promised that once he found her that he would remind her with the very same sound that the little child had made when they had held it to thier heart - so in that way, even if thier minds had gone crazy and forgotten... thier hearts would remember and they would once again be whole and know love.
So after all the food ran out they began to eat nothing but the new food and sure enough they began to forget one another and fight - soon all the kittens were full grown and went off on thier own exploring... until one by one they never came back.
Meow spent most of his time still searching for his little lost child - for he knew that if he found the child that that may somehow fix the madness - Some nights when he came home he found Sugar to be more and more upset for she to had spent the day searching and looking after her full grown kittens many of which were quite mean as they didn't remember her - but she went on loving them all the same - after a while she even forgot why, but her stubborn heart seemed to remember - it so happened that from time to time her and Meow forgot each other as well but they always made the same sound - the sound of the little childs love - so even though as time wore on they suprisingly forgot about the child and who they were - they loved each other very deeply for it was thier hearts that remembered.
During the day they they both searched mostly for food but still for something else - even though they no longer knew what that something was - Meow began to think that someone had taken this something from him so he became quite mad and bold even with his own children whom he had long forgot - his children had grown and had children of thier own - and because their was no good food left in the land they all had very short memories and their was constant turmoil and fightening for they all knew somewhere deep inside that something was missing and they were all suspisious of one another - as if one of them had stolen this thing and kept it all for themselves - for they could see others were happy sometimes - others that seemed whole and in love - so displays of love became a target - so soon they all learned again and again to hide thier love and happiness lest they be attacked by the seekers - but in hiding their love they forgot and sometimes all was lost.
One day something else appeared it was a frightening looking monster and it was was huge! some 10 - 20 times larger than the rest of the cats. The cats all ran and hid - until Meow, who was now the oldest and wisest of the cats spied the monster - Meow knew in his heart that this monster was somehow responsible for the madness and loss in the land - And a great anger arose in Meow as he knew that this monster was in fact the one that had taken his love from him - so he attacked the monster at once with hissing and sharp claws - but it was no use - the monster was powerful and so large that it quickly scooped up the much littler Meow... and all the cats were terrified for this was surely the end of Meow - but suddenly Meow smelled something something familar that he could not quite place and suprisingly before he knew it Meow found himself making the sound of the love in his heart - the monster suddenly smiled and cocked his head curiously at Meow and then held Meow the little purring magical cat to his chest - in the monsters chest Meow to heard the sound! The sound of his lost child! and he remebered and knew. The monster was his lost child all growded up in to a human adult!
It had seemed that Boogibly had looked after the child this whole time until the child had grown big enough to care for itself. At which point the child had cared for Boogibly and gave Boogibly good food so that Boogibly always knew and purred with the love of the contented heart.
And thats the story of the universe according to magical cats...
